Thinking about applying to be an elected HSU Officer? This session will give you all the information you need to decide whether it's the role for you.

We'll cover:

• What Officers do day-to-day
• What Officers don't do
• How Officers help to determine the direction of the SU
• The challenges of being an Officer
• How Officers are supported
• Opportunities for Officers, both during and after their time in the role

Important notes

This is not a drop-in session, and it will only go ahead if there are students registered to attend. If you want to come along, please ensure you book your free ticket.

If you decide to apply to be an Officer, you will also need to attend a Candidate Briefing, which will explain everything you need to know about the Officer Election process. Attending a briefing is compulsory to be a candidate in the HSU Officer Election.
