Volunteer Tree Planting on Campus

We're teaming up with the University to improve on-campus green spaces... and we need your help!
We'll be planting 30 trees in the ‘University green’ thanks to funding secured from SYMCA (South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority).
Want to get involved? Book onto a session from 10am-12pm or 1pm-3pm. Please only sign up to the session you can make as we have limited spaces.
By planting these trees, you'll help improve biodiversity, increase climate resilience, help tackle air pollution, and create an inclusive city-centre green space to enhance wellbeing for students, staff, and the wider community.
You'll gain practical skills and environmental awareness, as well as the opportunity to meet new people and make a difference to your community... including planting trees that will remain at Hallam for many years to come!
Please make sure you dress appropriately for the weather and wear shoes that you don’t mind getting a little dirty.
Tools, instructions, and light refreshments will be provided.
Travel expenses will be reimbursed by Hallam SU.
