Come with us and visit Whitby, a seaside town famous for inspiring the novel Dracula, its 199 clifftop steps, spooktacular ghost stories and rich Pirate history.
We'll be travelling via coach and spending the day in the seaside town of Whitby, before returning via coach.
Once in Whitby - the day is entirely yours to spend how you wish!
What you need to know
We will be departing the HUBs at 08:45 Please meet us outside the Hubs for 08:30
We will be departing Whitby at 16:30.
Unfortunately, we are unable to wait for latecomers, so if you miss the coach to/from Whitby you will be responsible for making alternative travel arrangements and you will not be reimbursed.
Accessibility
If you have any seating requirements (e.g. seat near the front due to travel sickness) then please let us know at suevents@shu.ac.uk and we will do our best to accommodate.
There are some steps up into the coach with handrails, there is space under the coach for storing mobility aids.The coach will have a toilet onboard subject to coach availbility.
Please note: The coach company that we use is an external company and is not affliated with the students' union. Hallam students' union cannot be held responsible for delays due to unforeseen circumstances including traffic delays or vehicle breakdowns.
Terms and Conditions
All tickets once sold are strictly non-refundable in all circumstances except where an event is cancelled by Give it a Go. Notifications of cancellations will be given on social media and email where available.
