Join us this summer as we take you on a trip to the seaside!

Located on England's north-west coast, Blackpool is a large seaside resort bursting with both character and atmosphere. It's even been voted as the UK's favourite seaside town!

Catch a thrill at Blackpool's Pleasure Beach, brush shoulders with famous faces at Madame Tussauds, or stroll the promenade to explore Blackpool Tower, Coral Island, SEA LIFE Blackpool, Central Pier, and more!

Tickets cost £15 for Hallam students and £18 for non-students. This includes travel via coach to Blackpool and a return journey back to Sheffield.

Travel

We'll depart the HUBS at 08:30am, so please arrive by 8:15am.

We'll leave Blackpool at 5:30pm, so please arrive by 5:15pm for our return journey back to Sheffield.

Unfortunately we are unable to wait for latecomers, so if you miss the coach to/from Blackpool you will be responsible for making alternative travel arrangements and you will not be reimbursed.

Accessibility

If you have any seating requirements (e.g. seat near the front due to travel sickness) then please let us know at suevents@shu.ac.uk and we will do our best to accommodate.

There are some steps up into the coach with handrails, there is space under the coach for storing mobility aids.The coach will have a toilet onboard subject to coach availbility. 

Please note: The coach company that we use is an external company and is not affliated with the students' union. Hallam students' union cannot be held responsible for delays due to unforeseen circumstances including traffic delays or vehicle breakdowns

Terms and conditions

All tickets once sold are strictly non-refundable in all circumstances except where an event is cancelled by Give it a Go. Notifications of cancellations will be given on social media and email where available. If you are no longer able to attend, please email us at suevents@shu.ac.uk with any questions.

Please observe the authority of the event host and follow all reasonable instructions. Our staff and guides are there to keep you safe.
