Grab your ticket for our trip to Alton Towers, the UK's biggest themepark! And just in case that wasn't enough for you, we're also going during Scarefest! The themepark will be decorated for Halloween with roaming actors and spooky scare-mazes ready to make you scream!
(Don't worry - the scare-mazes are totally optional! You can still get your thrills on the insane rollercoasters and rides.)
With over 40 rides and attractions, 3 scare-mazes, delicious food and drink, and themed worlds for you to explore... there's so much to do and see!
Your ticket includes cost of entry to Alton Towers Scarfest AND your travel there and back - what a deal!
Important info:
Please arrive at the HUBS by 8:45 so we can get you checked in. There's no need to print your ticket, just show the QR code on your phone.
The coach will depart at 09:00 am please do not be late. We are unable to wait for latecomers and you will not be refunded.
Please be back at the coach by 8:45pm, for a prompt 9pm departure. If you miss the coach you will be responsible for arranging your own return journey to Sheffield and this will not be reimbursed.
Accessibility
If you have any seating requirements (e.g. seat near the front due to travel sickness) then please let us know at suevents@shu.ac.uk and we will do our best to accommodate.
There are some steps up into the coach with handrails, there is space under the coach for storing mobility aids.The coach will have a toilet onboard subject to coach availbility.
Please note: The coach company that we use is an external company and is not affliated with the students' union. Hallam students' union cannot be held responsible for delays due to unforeseen circumstances including traffic delays or vehicle breakdowns
Terms and Conditions
All tickets once sold are strictly non-refundable in all circumstances except where an event is cancelled by Give it a Go. Notifications of cancellations will be given on social media and email where available.
Please observe the authority of the event host and follow all reasonable instructions. Our staff and guides are there to keep you safe!
