Before You Attend a Drop-In
- Read our self help guides an information on our website first: Help and Wellbeing.
- Drop-ins are for initial information gathering and brief advice only.
- They last for a maximum of 20 minutes.
- If you already have an open case or enquiry, please do not attend a drop-in. Contact your adviser directly or wait for a response to your enquiry.
- If you need to share lots of documentation or information about your situation, please use our online form instead of attending a drop in.
- During busy periods, we may not be able to see every student. If this happens, please submit an enquiry online SU Advice.
- The Advice Service is independent and does not make University decisions.
At a drop-in, we may:
- Provide information or initial advice.
- Signpost you to relevant services or self-help resources.
- Assess whether your enquiry requires ongoing casework support.
Please see our service agreement: Advice Service Agreement.
During Welcome, advice drop-in sessions will take place daily from 14th-25th September at the Students’ Union (City Campus) from 10.30am-12.30pm.
See our website for any changes in service days or times: SU Advice.
