Societies and Sports Fair: Stall Sign Up…

This year the Societies and Sports Fair is back and bigger than ever! We're offering your society an opportunity to share what you do to students and get new members. 

Key Information:

• Stalls are allocated on a first-come first-served basis. To register your interest, get a free ticket on this event page. We will have a waitlist available once we've allocated all stalls. Please note this does not guarantee a stall, the Societies Team will confirm your stall via email once the deadline has passed.
• Deadline to register your interest is 23:59 11th September.
• We only require one sign up per society, so only one committee member will need to get a single ticket
• You will be asked to provide the accessibility requirements of any student working the stall at the ticket purchasing stage. 
• Location: Ponds Forge - International Sports Centre, Sheaf Street, Sheffield 

Stall Specific Information:

• The Fair runs from 10am-4pm, we ask that societies arrive between 9:00-9:30am to set up their stalls. If you are unable to make the Fair and have already registered interest or have had a stall confirmed, please let the Societies Team know as soon as possible so that we can re-allocate your space.
• Stall: One table and two chairs. Limited to two students working each stall at a time. 
• Equipment – You may bring small items/flyers etc to decorate your stall. Any large items or items needed from HSU storage should be stated in the ticket questions.The Societies Team will then contact you for more information.
• Power – Limited, we will do our best to accommodate all stalls that require power. Requests will only be accepted in advance and we will confirm prior to the event if your stall has access to power. 
• Music – We will have a DJ at the fair, so we requested that no music is played by individual stall holders.

Accessibility

Please note, this is a busy event and tends to be the most popular during lunchtime. There will be music, flashing lights, and other stall holders. 

We will host a quiet hour 10am-11am for attendees to enjoy a calmer atmosphere with no flashing lights, and reduced noise and activity.
