Yes! Generally we will allow you to bring food and drink to screenings, as long as it is not alcoholic or smells bad! Make sure to clean up any mess you make so that the cinema is tidy for our next events.
While it's completely understandable (and encouraged!) to laugh or cry when a film makes us feel emotional, we do not allow any excessive noise or talking during screenings. Many film-goers want to focus on the film on the screen, and hearing other peoples' conversations can be distracting!
At the end of the day, you're here to watch a film, and we ask that you focus on that during the screening! We acknowledge that you may need to briefly check your phone, but make sure that you are on do-not-disturb and that the brightness is turned down low. For any calls or longer use of your phone, please step outside until you're finished!
The Void can be accessed via the main lifts in Owen Building, with the main doors being motion-sensing. There is some space for wheelchair access at the back of the Void.
