Join the city-wide forum bringing together student voices, decision makers, and community groups to tackle the key issues affecting student life across Sheffield and South Yorkshire.

The Sheffield Students' Assembly exists to:

• Unite students across Sheffield in one representative space.
• Make changes that improve the student experience.
• Hold those with the power to make change accountable to students.

What to expect

The Assembly provides an open and collaborative platform where students, political leaders, community organisations, and service providers come together to create a shared understanding of student challenges and open new pathways for meaningful change.

By attending, you'll be part of shaping solutions to widespread challenges faced by students, with the focus for this event being on International Students' Rights.

Who will be there?

The conversation brings together:

• Students from both Sheffield Hallam University and the University of Sheffield.
• Key decision makers such as MPs, councillors, SYMCA reps, and other civic leaders.
• Community and interest groups, particularly those focused on the session's key topics.

Hallam SU Officers will meet Hallam attendees at HSU Owen from 5:10pm, ready to walk to the venue at 5:20pm. It is a 25 minute walk. Alternatively, you can make your own way there, get the blue or yellow tram or or the 51 bus.
