Join us for an engaging and informative hybrid workshop designed specifically for professionals in the field of diagnostic and therapeutic radiography. This workshop will provide an introduction to British Sign Language (BSL) and its practical application in healthcare settings, helping radiographers enhance their communication skills when working with deaf and hard-of-hearing patients.
What to Expect:
Interactive Sessions: Learn the basics of British Sign Language in a supportive environment, including essential signs and phrases related to patient care.
Practical Skills: Gain confidence in using BSL to communicate more effectively with patients and other healthcare professionals improving the overall patient experience and communication.
Expert Guidance: Led by one of our own tutors with a background in healthcare, the workshop will provide you with valuable tips and insights on how to integrate BSL into your daily practice.
Hybrid Format:
Attend in-person for a hands-on, interactive learning experience or join virtually via MSTeams from anywhere—whatever works best for you!

Location: HC0.07 or via MSTeams (an email link will be sent to everyone with a ticket)
