Covering personal wellbeing alongside an in-depth talk on forensics and safeguarding.
2-hour, in-person session with Meg Dickson.
In this session, we’ll explore mental health, stress, and burnout within healthcare, and discuss why recognising these issues early is essential for sustaining a healthy career.
Our speaker, Meg Dickson, will also share her personal experience working in forensics, including alcohol and drug-related cases, managing withdrawals, and her work in safeguarding. She will talk through how professionals assess injuries in children and vulnerable people, and how decisions are made around whether injuries are accidental or non-accidental. Meg will reflect on transitioning into this field after working as a paramedic, offering valuable insights for anyone considering similar pathways.
