The Memory Cafe volunteering opportunities are back!

Last year, small groups of our members attended the Parson Cross Forum Memory Cafe and it was a huge success. The cafe is open to service users and their family with early/mid-stage dementia to encourage them to socialise and network. Participants can come along and purchase a light breakfast or refreshements (optional, cash only). They then participate in an hours activity which varies each week e.g. singing for the brain, bingo, dancing or crafts etc. We are priveledged to recieve this opportunity to join in with the social activities and to also learn about the lives of those living with (or caring for) dementia. This is a fantastic opportunity to give back to your local community and to also spend a couple of wholesome hours!

Sign up today! We have limited spaces available for each date due to not wanting to overwhelm the cafe. Please do not feel like you have to commit to all dates, chose as little or as many as you can.
