Come chat with us about the Women’s and Girls’ Night-Time Safety Charter.
As part of 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, your Sport, Wellbeing and Physical Activity Officer, Layla Barrett is currently consulting on Sheffield’s Women’s and Girls’ Night-Time Safety Charter with Sheffield City Council, and will be on campus to get your feedback.
The charter provides practical steps towards addressing women's and girls’ safety in licensed premises and venues, such as training and resources, and is part of a council initiative to tackle violence against women and girls, and to improve the safety of women and girls who work, visit or socialise in the night-time economy.
We’ll also be giving out anti-spiking information and resources, including cup and bottle covers.
