HSU x Sheffield Business School - Industry Speakers and Societies Launch Event…

Join us for the HSU x Sheffield Business School Industry Speakers and Societies Launch Event! This event is open to all students and will be hosted in the brand new Langsett building where you'll be able to hear four industry guest speakers as well as meet our HSU societies that are linked to your course in the Business School. They are easy to join!

When: Friday 10 October | 14:00 - 16:00

Where: Upper Ground Floor in Langsett Building, City Campus, Sheffield Hallam University, Sheffield

Important: This event is ticket only. Please ensure you have one prior and have it ready on your arrival.

Overview:

2pm: Business schools are not meant to teach you everything about succeeding in the real-world. Your formal education provides you with a foundation, but success in the real-world often relies on going understanding human behaviour and building strong relationships. This session presents the provocation "What your degree won't teach you but the real-world will" to our panel of industry experts and debates the 'street-smarts' you'll need to go out and experience for yourself to make the most of your business strengths.
