As part of our work for the 16 days of activism against gender-based violence campaign (25th November to 10th December), we are putting on a series of events. We hope to use our events to provide safe spaces for individuals to express themselves, connect with their bodies, develop skills for wellbeing and engage in meaningful activism. If you’re looking for a simple meditation practice to help navigate lifes challenges, then Heartfulness could be for you…
Heartfulness is a simple practical approach to meditation and relaxation, which is easy to learn and integrate into your daily life. Â
Heartfulness can help increase resilience to stress, improve focus and attention and help to create a more peaceful and balanced life.Â
In this brief introductory workshop we experience two of the Heartfulness techniques: relaxation and meditation.Â
The relaxation helps to prepare your body to meditate more effectively.Â
We’ll have time for Q&A and show a clip from one of the Heartfulness Channels too.
This workshop will take place in Common Room at The HUBS from 4:00PM - 5:30pm.Â
