Women Only* Run Club Collab for 16 Days of Activism against Gender Based Violence
Join us for a special Night Run as Hallam SU teams up with one of Sheffield’s run club 6+1 Run Club to mark the start of the 16 Days of Activism campaign (25 November – 10 December). This initiative shines a light on the fight to end gender-based violence, and our run aims to bring women together to feel more comfortable running at night in the dark, creating a safe and supportive space to celebrate community and the freedom to move without fear even after dark.
Whether you’re a regular runner or this will be your first run, everyone is welcome! We will be running a route around the city, guided by members of the 6+1 Run club. The route will be sent to ticket holders.
Don’t worry if you feel like walking at points, we will have stewards spread out around the route.
What to bring:
- Comfortable running trainers
- Reflective clothing (if you have it)
- Waterproofs (if it’s meant to rain)
