We are excited to welcome back AP training services for our very popular Level 1 First Aid in Mental Health course. These courses always sell out for get your ticket quickly. 

This 4hr course is aimed at providing learners with the knowledge to identify suspected mental health conditions and the skills to start a conversation and be able to signpost the person towards professional help. It is a great way to begin becoming qualified in Mental Health support.

Some of the elements covered:

• Depression 
• Anxiety 
• Stress
• Psychosis 
• Eating disorders
• Suicide 
• Self harm

Tickets for this course are £23. Tickets are non-refundable and we will only process a refund if we are able to fund a replacement for your spot on the course.

If you are late for the event and have not let us know we may give your spot to someone on the waiting list

What do I need to bring?

Please bring your ticket confirmation (this can be on your phone). You may also like to bring a drink and some snacks/lucnh for the day as these will not be provided.

Terms and Conditions

All tickets once sold are strictly non-refundable in all circumstances except where an event is cancelled by Give it a Go. Notifications of cancellations will be given on social media and email where available.

Give it a Go is open to Sheffield Hallam University students and its Alumni only. Each student must book their own ticket however Give it a Go takes no liabilities if a guest is denied access without the proper production of an NUS or uCard.
