Join us on Saturday 27th for our first FMC Give It A Go Hike!
We will be taking an approximately 8km hike around Grindleford and Longshaw Estate to introduce our prospective members to the beautiful Peak District. We will be travelling by train and there will be an optional pub visit afterwards. More information, including specific train times, will be shared on our Whatsapp group chat.
Please only purchase ONE ticket for EITHER the Saturday OR Sunday hike. They are IDENTICAL. Tickets will be available from Wednesday 17th September at 9am.
Although we aim to be an incredibly inclusive society, there are certain kit requirements that must be met due to SU insurance and safety purposes whilst out on the hills. This includes hiking boots, a waterproof coat, a bag, lunch and at least 1l of water.
Returning members, this event is designed for our freshers. Please give them a chance to book these tickets and wait until the following week to rejoin our weekly hikes. We can't wait to see you all again! Thank you
