Join us on Wednesday 5th February 2025 for a CPD session with Support Dogs, Sheffield. This session will take place at The Stage @ Hallam Students Union from 5pm - 6pm. Tickets are £4.50, which will go towards fundraising for Support Dogs (minus a £0.35 system processing fee). There will also be a cash collection bucket on the day, if you want to donate more!

Support Dogs is a charity in Sheffield that train dogs from puppies into working support therapy dogs for children with autism, disabilities and other additional needs. They support mental health and trained to do everyday tasks. The session will be similar to a lecture, exploring:

• What the charity does
• Who they support
• How they support
• Experiences of individuals who have used the service

At the end of the session we will meet one of the Support Dogs! There will also be an opportunity to ask questions.

[NOTE: There will be a dog in attendance at the event. If you have any allergies to animals (dogs) please do not attend.]
