Come and join us to help clean up one of the UK's beautiful beaches!
Meeting outside the HSU Building next to Owen at 08:15am on Thursday 9th July, your coach travel to Cleethorpes beach will be provided for FREE. To buy a ticket, you have to pay a £5 deposit but this will be refunded after we have confirmed attendance. If you do not attend, you will NOT be refunded.
Once at the beach we will do a beach clean / litter pick, you will have opportunity to explore, play some games, and get to know your fellow volunteers.
We will then be traveling back to HUBS for roughly a 4:30 pm finish. The journey will be about 1hr 30mins each way.
Please read the below carefully before you book.
- Equipment and gloves are provided.
- Please bring money for lunch or any snacks or activities you might like, and dress for the weather (e.g. bring suncream and pack a raincoat if it looks like it might rain!)
- Spaces are limited, we will offer places on a first come, first served basis..
If you book a space but can no longer attend, you MUST let us know with at least 24 hours notice by emailing volunteering@shu.ac.uk. If you book a place and do not attend without letting us know, you will lose your deposit and you may be prevented from taking part in future activities.
