Join us for this free volunteering trip to the seaside, where you will be helping to clean up Cleethorpes beach!
Come and join us to help clean up one of the UK's beautiful beaches.
Meeting at the HUBS at 08:15am on Friday 18th July, your train travel to Cleethorpes beach will be provided for FREE.
Once at the beach we will do a beach clean / litter pick, you will have opportunity to explore, play some games, and get to know your fellow volunteers.
We will then be traveling back to HUBS for roughly a 4:30 pm finish. The journey will be about 1hr 45mins each way.
Please read the below carefully before you book.
- Equipment and gloves are provided.
- Please bring money for lunch or any snacks or activities you might like, and dress for the weather (i.e bring suncream and pack a raincoat if it looks like it might rain!)
- When booking you must indicate whether or not you have a railcard. If you have indicated you do have a railcard, you MUST bring it on the day, or you may not be able to travel.
- Spaces are limited, we will offer places on a first come, first served basis..
- If you book a space but can no longer attend, you MUST let us know with at least 24 hours notice by emailing volunteering@shu.ac.uk. If you book a place and do not attend without letting us know, you may be prevented from taking part in future activities.
